I can confirm that it works in GUI 1005. And it worked via the cli version since v1 ;-)

It also removed the "useless" chapter

I've made an explorer-style folder select dialog with IFileDialog + FOS_PICKFOLDERS. My sample app works and will be integrated into the GUI.

Hmm, that's interesting as I did not intentionally do anything about these matters. Happy for you!

Is there something else I should do? Remember, I don't care too much about differences from eac3to; I care about whether the streams are in sync.
You need 00847.mpls. Russian isn't commentary, it should be sync to others.
I think +160ms is hard to hear.

BDInfo shows lenght 02:04:39.136
Russian track demuxed with DGDemux 02:04:39.168
Russian track demuxed with eac3to 02:04:39.168
English DTS demuxed with DGDemux 02:04:39.306
English DTS demuxed with eac3to 02:04:39.136

Adobe Audition shows +160ms difference only between English DTS tracks. There are only 2 possible variants:

1) 1 track is sync, all others are not. BDInfo shows incorrect length.
2) 1 track isn't sync, all others are. BDInfo shows correct lenght.

Maybe i shouldn't care about 160ms, but if there is a bug in DGDemux, somewhere else it can be way more, isn't it?

Ps: I don't care about DGDemux vs eac3to differences, I just wanna DGDemux does its work as correctly as this possible.

Hmm ok. Mediainfo and DVDFab10 both show me 21 chapters. The BD menu itself shows 20 chapters... I idk where the 21 chapter come from.

EDIT:
Oh I forgot about the report button in BDInfo. It shows only 20 chapters.

@ChaosKing

Guess I'm in good company with BDInfo.

@redbtn

Is that Russian AC3 in 00847.mpls a commentary track or normal audio for the movie?

Normal audio. I edited post above a little. As you can see on screens Adobe Audition, there are the same audio. In this place no speech.

Ps: Russian track sync perfectly. I do care about English DTS. All AC3 tracks sync perfectly.

OK, thank you. So your basic concern is that the DGDemux'ed DTS track is too long? That makes sense as I do not currently do gap correction for DTS (all AC3 is corrected). Time to implement that!

Yes, it's too long. And it seems like it has shift +100ms in middle of the movie, and +160ms in the end of the movie.
----
I have another report about UHD Bluray (not seamless)
It almost perfect I guess.

1) Video track demuxed with DGDemux > mkv > hevc is identical to (load playlist in mkvtoolnix, mux to MKV, then extract to *.hevc). Eac3to has different file. I guess in this case eac3to have bug or another algorithm.

2) THD identical to MTX and eac3to.

3) embedded track identical to MTX

4) AC3 tracks which demuxed with DGDemux have "DELAY -17ms" and one additional frame in the beginning of the track. If I cut 1 frame, tracks have same MD5 to MTX and eac3to.

There is my question, why?

As I said above, all other is perfect, except this. On this Bluray I'd say DGDemux beats eac3to, even on not seamless branching UHD Disc, because it seems like video track more correct.

@redbtn

I have gaps processing working for DTS audio. Sync is spot on now. I want to integrate the new folder browse stuff tomorrow and then make a release.

I'll look into your #4 question tomorrow too.

Will DGDemux support utf8/unicode?

I can't open files/folders with japanese characters:
Code:
Original
天空のエスカフローネ Blu-ray BOX DISC1\THE_VISION_OF_ESCAFLOWNE_1
DGDemuxGUI
?????????? Blu-ray BOX DISC1\THE_VISION_OF_ESCAFLOWNE_1

Thanks for this new excellent tool, which joins your collection of others excellent tools.

A little question. Will the releases stay x64 only, or will in the future be an x86 and x64 release ?

It functions as DGIndexNV does. There is limited support that you can read about here:

http://rationalqm.us/board/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=362

Sorry about a bunch of missing posts in there to which my replies are still there. Boris must have got mad at someone, oops. Bottom line is your system locale needs to be set appropriately. If after doing that you still have issues please let me know.

I won't ever implement full Unicode.

Thank you, JP. Yes, I'll make a win32 version. Do you need it right away?

New folder browse is integrated and working. New release later today.

I demuxed all the AC3 tracks from 00847.mpls. All the created files had DELAY 0ms. Please explain how you obtained DELAY -17ms.

Sorry if you got me wrong, it's about different disc, UHD HDR Bluray. In 00847.mpls only DTS +160ms issue.
