RGB sliders for MPC-BE, Kodi or any player?
Hi,
I looked around and found nothing of the sort, only discussions related to limited or full RGB. What I'm asking is if any software player (I use MPC-BE and Kodi) has RGB sliders as color correction settings. Right now the only option I have is changing the colors at the video driver level, which kinda sucks because it affects the whole system. MPC-BC has under "color correction" brightness, contrast, hue and saturation but no red, green and blue. Is there any way to control colors? A slider to add or remove each color, a value to change or something? I'm in a need for this because some "remastered" movies have an ugly color correction done to them (which can range from bad to disgusting) and being able to manipulate each color can give them a huge improvement. |

If you mean such hated-by-me-as-well colour graded movies
(pale shades, greenish skin, Matrix-grader-wannabees): This can not be undone with RGB sliders anyway. Often enough a whole bunch of chroma values are mapped around just 2 poles, so given the 8-bit nature of most videos the original values are lost forever... Playing those movies through a AviSynth script or use shaders ?
