Combining .mkv video and audio
Hello there,
I'm a relative newbie to backup into .mkv files and learning how to mux all the audio and everything back into one finished file. I've figured how to do basic muxing; for example I was able to rip the Big Lebowski HD-DVD video and mux in the HD lossless audio from the Blu-Ray release to create a final .mkv movie. I'm trying to accomplish a new task now though. I really like the Blu-Ray Director's Cut of the movie Troy, but I dislike some of the soundtrack changes they made to the movie. I've ripped the HD-DVD Theatrical Cut to a .mkv file, but I want to mux in certain parts of the audio into the Director's Cut .mkv file (for example, the fight scene between Achilles and Hector and Achilles' final scene). Is there a program available that makes it easy to perform cuts and splits to raw video/audio files? (the audio files that I'll be working with are either LPCM or .thd - True HD 5.1) Thank you for the assistance! |
