Ben, yes, Adobe Premiere ! Forgot to check that, had given up on Premiere after going to Edius for 4 years, then Vegas.

Derek, from afar I guessed somebody might have weighted 4:2:0 vertically and horizontally 2-fold smeared interlaced CUE
against 4:1:1 4-fold horizontally smeared chroma and found the latter to be the lesser evil...

BTW, coming from PAL land I would welcome some real 4:1:1 samples from NTSC DV-Cams, just for comparison.
