--vpp-sub <int> or <string>
Maybe <int> is the ID of subtitle? Perhaps <string> refers to text.srt? Not sure how it works myself. Supported subtitle format = ass/srt/ttxt/txt Possibly by linking it to staxrip's "Container" subtitle? --vpp-sub-shaping <string> Simple and complex (default is simple, but i prefer complex) --vpp-sub-charset <string> https://trac.ffmpeg.org/attachment/t...parameters.txt Last edited by JohnLai; 30th April 2016 at 09:47. |

Eh? Oh....I see, test build? I was using v1.3.4.0-stable.
I didn't notice it already been available in testbuild. BTW....staxrip testbuild changelog; added new QSVEncC switches for hordcoded subtitles Thanks again EDIT: Stax76, is it possible to automatically link the "Sub File" directly to the 'Containers' subtitles selection? I don't know why StaxRip_x64_2016-04-29_19-54_test fails to run in my machine, Windows 7 64bits (via VirtualBox), right now I am using StaxRip_x64_2016-03-31_20-38_test and it runs fine. This is the error that I get:
EDIT: I also see a bunch of .dll's that other versions don't have: Last edited by fredlkrue; 1st May 2016 at 06:55. |

@fredlkrue
It requires .NET 4.6.1 because of the C# scripting feature. @mcjordan L-Smash-Works and mvtools are locally updated. Quote:

D2V Source 1.0 for VapourSynth released on 29.04.2016
https://github.com/dwbuiten/d2vsource/releases I do not know what's the difference with included in your compilation. Yours is three years older (by file date). May be version 0.7 beta? But... have some limitations & bugs: * Only works with D2V files created by DGIndex (version flag 16) or D2VWitch (https://github.com/dubhater/D2VWitch). * Not all the IDCT algorithms in DGDecode are in libavcodec, so I've tried to map them as best I could. See idct_algo_conv in d2v.hpp for more info. * Does not support user specified cropping. Would be easy to add, but I disagree with the premise. Use VapourSynth's cropping. * Needs the full path to the D2V file. * Probably more I'm forgetting! |

@JohnLai
It's possible sure but I don't see sense and benefit in making an connection between container soft subs with encoder hard subs, it don't look like this mixes well. @mcjordan I've updated d2vsource.

Ghost
Stax,
I'm having "ghost" problem. Can you help troubleshoot? I don't know if this is related to the new avisynth, x265 encoder or just missed switches. It started when new avysinth was included and changes in the switches. Doing x265 10bit 2pass

@stax
thanks man, its finally working, if anyone asks - uninstall all nvidia software, - uninstall intel graphics driver, - delete opencl.dll from system32, syswow64 (takeownershipex can help), - can run MS dism, sfc at this point to make sure everything's in place, it'll also restore stock MS opencl.dll to syswow64, - install intel driver (.4424), it will overwrite opencl.dll to v2.0.2.0 in syswow64, and add 64bit one to system32, - install nvidia software (it'll leave opencl.dll both 32/64 bit intact because i think its own version is still 1.2.11), - don't run sfc after that, and check periodically after windows updates cos MS can revert opencl in syswow64 back to stock, which intel software might not like. turns out its been an issue for many users in the past months, the opencl client dlls getting ovewritten chaotically by ms/nv/intel updates, is how i see it now. |

I think I found the culprit. Choosing Tune-> Grain causes this. It should be Tune -> None. Then use --no-cutree option
