Probably a dumb question.
If I create a small video in DVD format, inside a VIDEO_TS structure and - assuming it would fit - burn it to a CD (CR-R / CD-RW) disc, and play it on a DVD player?
Would this work at all? Would it work on SOME DVD players? Would it work in PowerDVD or the like? I'm aware that I could convert it to SVCD or etc., but I am specifically asking about having it in DVD structure format. I know I could just try it, but I'm sure someone has tried this before, so I just thought I'd ask. |

I had an LG DVD-player and it accepted CDVDs without a complaint. I had a Pentium-4 with Windows XP and also no problems with VIDEO_TS folders recorded on compact discs. OTOH, the DirectShow DVD-navigator that ships with Windows 7 was designed to reject CDVDs... |
