VirtualDub2: end of audio gets trimmed when "positive audio skew is used"
Hi there,
This is first time I've noticed, and now can reproduce this strange behavior. 1) Take 15 min source, and trim it in various places, down to 5min. 2) Add Audio using the MPEG audio input driver of 4 minutes in length. 3) Video SELECT RANGE, untick "Apply video edits to audio", click OK. 4) CTRL-I "audio skew correction", set to: 20000 (20 seconds) 5) Play video in VD2 You'll notice that: a) Music plays 20 sec into the clip, which is expected 3) Music ENDS 20 seconds before end of audio track, well within the video, so you get 4minutes minus 20 seconds of audio... This is unexpected... Tried unticking other things in #3 above, but no luck.. Is there something obvious I'm missing here.. Typically I'd use very small audio corrections/skews, like 1 / 2 seconds so did not notice, but trying a larger one exposes the issue more clearly. Appreciate any thoughts, this is using build 43602. Thanks, Stormy. |

Hi,
Just checked - looks like a bug. In audio display the waveform is not truncated but in actual output it is. Will look asap.
