I just did the same, except chose to use 2-pass because I wanted to make sure I could archive it onto a DVD-DL disk. It only took 6 hours even with 2-pass, on an I7-920 Dell. After demuxing had finished, I opened the English-Forced .sup with BDSup2Sub, converted to 1280x720 size, exported. Chose to burn the subs into picture, worked beautifully!

You've got a great program here!

Wouldn't be simpler to just import .sup directly in RipBot264???

trouble with Avatar Movie

Hello I'm Maurizio from Italy, I successfully copied (it works well) with AnyDVD HD 6.6.4.0 through a protected image file of blue-ray disc, now in an attempt to create a MKV file or an AVCHD folder with RipBot264v1.15.1, after demuxing it froze and it get following error:

DirectShowSource: DirectShowSource : Graph refused to run.:
Dimensioni non impostate. Impossibile allocare memoria.
(C:\temp\RipBot264temp\job1\getinfo.avs, line 2)

I tried to update the various RipBot tools, but the result does not change. Anyone can help me?

THX

Drat, ignored. :P

It's all good, no hard feelings on this end.

Sure, would have been simpler. But those subs are sized for 1080P video, I wanted smaller subs for 720P, that's why I resized them.

Okay so instead of bothering you to add ogm support I went on a small little journey to unpack the ogm and then repack as an mkv. But for some reason the English audio picks up a delay. The Japanese audio is just fine. I'm probably just going to fix it manually with the mkvmerge delay feature. Then I'll use Ripbot, which I just want to tell you, is an excellent program, and I thank you for creating it.

Edit:

Well it turned out I had to delay the audio by a full second. Odd, how it picked that up.

You should use 1080p subs because they will look better on 1920x1080 display.

Sorry for pestering, but for converting a 480p anime file to a psp compatible mp4 file is there a crf which produces higher quality? Or should I just leave it on 22? So far everything I've done I've just left at 22, but I'm wondering what type of difference it makes.

lower value = higher quality and larger size
higher value = lower quality and smaller size

crf22 is a good tradeoff

25mbps is enough for movies

23866 MB (bd-sl) = 24438784 KB

25000kbps (video) + 4608kbps (uncompressed 5.1 audio 16bit) = 29608kbps = 3701KB/s
24438784 / 3701 = 6603 s / 60 = 110 min

Hi ,

I know that Ripbot 264 has included eac3to .
I need to resize few files which are too large after encoding BD into 720p.
Resulting 3 files : a LPCM of 2 GB , a DTS of 987 MB and an AC3 of 980 MB.
I wanna convert them to maximum 200-300 MB each , doesn't matter the quality ( I know the problem )
So , in this case , can I use Ripbot ?? and how ??
If no , I must use eac3to , but I didn't found yet an interface for it...

can smb help me ???

THX !!

PS : One MORE question :

When a movie has 4 or 5 sound tracks , how can I encode ALL of them , in the same time using Ripbot ???
Is there such a possibility ???
If there isn't , how can I encode / convert them separatelly and how can I attach them to the movie ??

I had the same problem with Fist of Legend US version and what I did was:

I demuxed the movie with tsMuxer to get the audio files.
I am in the process of encoding the movie without audio.
When done I will add the audio to it with mkvtoolnix.

The audio tracks in the movie are all AC3 2.0 with bitrate 192-224 so there is no need to recode them but if they were DTS I would just use PopCorn AudioConverter to recode them from the finished mkv.
