Reverting to the former haali version cured the problem. Maybe it's only with my system? I am on Vista. Would the new haali version have any significant benefit for the DB-RB application? |

BTW, anyone know of good BR playback software that will allow me to take a screen capture that I can export to a photo manipulation program like Photoshop? They used to have it (Single Frame Screen Capture) in Power DVD, but they did away with it! Richard |

Nothing significant to BD-RB that I can think of... and definitely no dependencies. I was just trying to keep a little more current. The older version is fine. @All Has anyone else had any problems with the HAALI upgrade? |

Not sure where the problem is but it seems like I started to have issues with the last 2 versions of BD Rebuilder. I use Anydvd to rip. At least 1/2 the BD's I rip won't play on my Sony BD Player, which I've had for < 2 years. They play (AUTO) fine on my PC. The seems to encode fine (no errors) but show UNKNOWN in my player. I have no idea where to start tracking down the problem. The blanks I use are the same I have always used.

@ Ch3vr0n RE:@Richard: No real player allows this afaik.
ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre 5 has a way to capture a 1280x544 jpeg thumbnail by hitting (P) or right click the playback screen and (Capture Image) and saves in my documents (ArcSoft) by default. I know it's not a HD pict but works for me to do thumbs on my Movie folders. Don't know if there is a setting to increase the default image quality. Hope this helps, worknstiff |

Just use the MPC player that is in the tools directory of bd_rebuilder. Pause the image you want to save and select "save image" from the file menu. It will allow you to save the image on the screen. It saves it in whatever resolution the clip is in. You can save to a .bmp, .jpg, or .png. You can also do thumbnails.
