Using multiAVCHD to author multi-file DVD disc
I had selected multiAVCHD to be our disc authoring tool for DVDs and Blurays, and have run into a fairly big issue. We are compiling multiple ~3 minute video clips that have already been transcoded to DVD compliant MPG files. When we try to add multiple video files to multiAVCHD to burn as a single DVD, it creates a separate DVD folder structure for each video file added (instead of what we had hoped which was that it would automatically build one chapter per file all on the same disc). Furthermore, no matter how many times we tell multiAVCHD not to transcode each video file, the output shows that it is being transcoded.
I have searched all through the forums and have found another user who reported this error, but no fix. Does anyone use multiAVCHD for DVD authoring? If not, would you mind posting what you use to author DVDs? We're currently trying to get Adobe Encore working but are getting an "out of memory" error as it does something with these already DVD compliant files for 1.5 hours before finally exhausting the amount of memory it can address... oy. Thanks for your help! |
