txmuxer crashes in windows 7 64 bit
Hi Jdobbs,
i get a strange crash of txmuxer.exe that appears at 2.5% with serenity blu ray (uk version). But the file plays fine in media player classic hc. here are the logs: ----------------------- [22:49:24] BD Rebuilder v0.33.02 (beta) - Source: SERENITY_G51_GLO2 - Input BD size: 31,50 GB - Approximate total content: [01:59:02.552] - Target BD size: 4,27 GB - Windows Version: 6.1 [7600] - MOVIE-ONLY mode enabled - RESIZE 1080p to 720p enabled - Audio Settings: AC3=1 DTS=1 HD=0 Kbs=640 [22:49:25] PHASE ONE, Encoding - [22:49:25] Extracting A/V streams [VID_00333] - Error in attempt to extract audio/subs. - 2.5% complete [22:49:40] - Failed to retrieve audio, aborted [Status] LABEL=SERENITY_G51_GLO2 VERSION=v0.33.02 (beta) SOURCE_SIZE=33824704512 SOURCE_VIDEO_SIZE=33824704512 TARGET_SIZE=4581228544 REDUCTION=.135440312342558 RESIZE_1080=-1 AUDIO_TO_KEEP=eng; SUBS_TO_KEEP=all BACKUP_MODE=1 MOVIEONLY_TYPE=0 QUICK=0 [00333] AUDIO=100000000000 PGS=10000100000000000000000000000000 MUXOPT --no-pcr-on-video-pid --new-audio-pes --demux --vbr --vbv-len=500 V_MS/VFW/WVC1, "E:\SERENITY\SERENITY_G51_GLO2\BDMV\STREAM\00333.m2ts", fps=23.976, track=4113 A_DTS, "E:\SERENITY\SERENITY_G51_GLO2\BDMV\STREAM\00333.M2TS", down-to-dts, track=4352, lang=eng, mplsFile=00000 S_HDMV/PGS, "E:\SERENITY\SERENITY_G51_GLO2\BDMV\STREAM\00333.M2TS",bottom-offset=0,font-border=0,text-align=center,video-width=1280,video-height=720,fps=23.976, track=4608,lang=eng, mplsFile=00000 S_HDMV/PGS, "E:\SERENITY\SERENITY_G51_GLO2\BDMV\STREAM\00333.M2TS",bottom-offset=0,font-border=0,text-align=center,video-width=1280,video-height=720,fps=23.976, track=4613,lang=deu, mplsFile=00000 - Windows Version: 6.1 [7600] - AVISYNTH Version: 2.5.7.0, Ok - HAALI Splitter: Isn't recommended version - FFDSHOW: 3326, Ok - WIN7 preferred AVC CODEC: Ok - WIN7 preferred VC-1 CODEC: Ok - WIN7 preferred MPEG2 CODEC: Not Set correctly - FFDSHOW VC-1 set to "wmv9", Ok - FFDSHOW MPEG2 set incorrectly: [0] - FFDSHOW AVC set to "libavcodec": Ok - BD Rebuilder v0.33.0.2, Ok - X264: Ok - AFTEN: Ok - FAAC: Ok - MP4BOX: Ok - WAVI: Ok - TSMUXER: Ok edit: I found out, that the english subtitles are the problem, all other work. Could there be a problem with subtitles and tsmuxer? Sorry, i think it has nothing to do with your application. The version of haali is the one you have for download in the first message of this thread. I hope this is ok. Last edited by MvB; 5th April 2010 at 22:26. |

@MvB
The most likely problem is the resizing to 720p. TSMUXER has issues trying to do so with certain subs and crashes in the process. I'd eliminate one sub at a time until I find the one that is causing the problem. I have this listed in my "things to do" list -- and have already begun the encoding to do the sub resize myself, I just haven't gotten around to finishing it. As long as you have installed the HAALI from the first post you should be fine. Apparently there is some way in which a new install of HAALI doesn't completely remove the old one and the checksum routine in INSPECT.EXE sees the install as a mismatch. If you completely uninstall HAALI and then clear it's folder followed by a reinstall it should fix it and get an "Ok". [edit] Whoops, just noticed your edit... we're on the same wavelength. Problem with Alvin and the Chipmunks - The Squeakuel
when adding the movie to batch, it removes the english ac3 audio from the first track, which is kept before adding to que, and it keeps the french and spanish track when they should not. seems to work ok when just doing a straight backup. no errors in the log file, using version 0.32.08 and tried 0.33.02. Any other info you need i'll try and help, just thought i would bring this up. Thanks for the awesome program

Another quick question:
With movies like The Godfather and Angels and Demons which have occasional subtitles throughout the movie, what is a good way to maintain them in backups or add them back in after the encoding job with BD RB is complete? I tried a backup of Godfather 2 and noticed that none of the foreign speech had subtitles. |

To avoid further confusion I'll add that rack04 compiled a build answering to my request and PM'd me the exe... It is not published for download nor you'll find it anywhere around, but in the threads you follow, setarip. It is the regular x264 r1510 but without the ffmpeg/ffms2 + long start-code (just as all older builds).

@jdobbs, @deank
In light of how impressive both of your programs are and, still more impressively, how they continue to expand and improve, I (and, I presume the few others who use the two in conjunction as a means of creating HD-DVD videos) am more than happy to continue making the minor adjustments required in order to be able to continue to use them for this limited purpose conversion. Congratulations to you both for continuing, "To go where no man has gone before" ;>} |
