Should there be a "Signal processing for dummies" guide?
As most of you know, it's damn near impossible to discuss resizing methods without getting your feet wet in the deep, dark abyss that is signal processing. Some decent and n00b-friendly information can be found in scattered documentation related to image-editing programs (http://entropymine.com/imageworsener/pixelmixing, http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/filter), but this is a poor substitute for a real guide to the subject. Would anyone be interested in collaborating with me on writing such a guide? Thanks to all the things I've learned the hard way, rather than from a book, I could be good at addressing a lot of possible points of confusion.
