It happens in different ways, some are disabled in classes, sometimes in text documents, maybe in MovieObject.bdmv or bdjo files need to watch the entire disc, it's easier to replace the video itself with something else.

Each of the fields for a given PlayItem are editable. Right click and select "Edit Mode" or use the keyboard shortcut, Ctrl+E. Once in "Edit Mode" update the "OUT time" so that it mirrors the "IN time". This will set the length of the PlayItem to 00:00:00.000 effectively skipping over it. If the playlist contains additional PlayItems you plan to retain just delete (Shift+Del) the PlayItem in question instead if you like, then saving your changes via the "Save" button in the lower left corner.

Hi!
I´m dealing with an UHD disc with just the BACKUP, CLIPINF, META, PLAYLIST and STREAM folders inside the BDMV folder. The only one containing something similar to the menu, is the META folder, containing a folder called DL with three files inside, two jpgs with the menu background in different shapes, and a xml file. I assume I have to edit that xml file, but I don't know where to start, as I usually deal with Java menus containing pngs. It's a Netflix disc, FYI. Thanks for any info regarding how to deal with this kind of menu. |

According to your message, the menu is divided into two different M2TS, with different screen sizes. Is there any tutorial where I could find out how to deal with them? I don't know where to start on BDedit, as although I use it, not that deeply. EDIT: I have found the buttons on BDedit. Is it possible to edit the text directly on BDedit or do I have to do it with photoshop or Scenarist? Thanks in advance! Last edited by ernnnn; 12th January 2025 at 12:31. |

Once importing (Load object image) the updated object you'd update the M2TS file in question using the "Mux" option. Once mux'ing out the associated CLPI file may need updated as well. (Make sure the "Ask to correct packet size in ClipInfo" option is checked from the OPTIONS tab.) BDedit will update the CLPI file for you if needed. It doesn't happen when mux'ing out however. Once mux'ing out go to the "BDMV" tab and "Read" the Blu-ray fresh, then going to the "CLIPINF" tab selecting the CLPI file in question. If the CLPI file needs updated BDedit will display a prompt offering to update the CLPI for you. That being said, there's one huge catch to all of this. Menus for HDMV based Blu-ray's have limitations regarding the images used as compared to BD-J. The images for HDMV based Blu-ray's are limited to 256-color 8-bit indexed PNG's. Also, every object (image) used for a given menu page must be using the same color palette. As such, there are two methods which can be used to replace an object within an IG. You can export (Save object image) the object in question and its palette (Save palette), then applying the exported palette to the updated version of the image prior to import back to the IG. The other method would be to export all objects that use the same color palette, update the object in question, then process all exported objects using PNG Quantizer importing the resulting images back to the IG, PNG Quantizer having created a 256-color 8-bit indexed copy of all the images, the same color palette being applied to each image. And this may not work out, but you can try it. Export the objects (images) in question and update them, then import the objects back to the IG replacing the existing objects, but not the color palette. This will add a new color palette to the IG which can then be deleted (Shift+Del). Mux out at that point, then reading the Blu-ray fresh returning to the IG. Once back at the IG select the updated objects from the "Objects" tab to see if they're being displayed correctly using the original color palette. If so, you're good to go. If not, one of the methods described previously would need to be used. Last edited by Lowpro; 12th January 2025 at 21:24. |

Im running into an issue with a menu conversion. I have mapped out the words, but I am looking to center all 4 of the words properly. In the xml file, I can specify their coordinates like x,y. But that has no bearing on where they show up in the menu, just what is made visible. Anyone know what I am looking for in the .class file? I have set all parameters correctly, so that all words are now visible, several were 3 times the size of the original. But I would like those new words to be better centered.

Hi, to find the desired class in the jar file, you need luyten-0.5.4. You insert the button name from the xml file into the search. So you can find a class where the button sizes are duplicated from xml, but there may be another class where the button coordinates are specified in the menu, you can find it by the menu name "Main Menu", "Settings", "Setup", "Audiolist", it happens in different ways. |

Now a new issue.
If I remove the original japanese audio track, replacing it with a french audio track, the Scenes no longer match up. From the menu, if I select Scene 2, Scene 3 loads etc. If I select Scene 15 or higher (up to 26), nothing happens. |
