Join Subtitle Files Together

How do I join two or more subtitle files together? For example, I merged two episodes of a TV series together, and now I want to combine their two PGS (.SUP) files together for my video.

Subtitle Edit may be able to do it, but I haven't worked with PGS, so not sure.

How do I merge them together and keep both their respective subs?

Realize that once you find an application that can splice two PGS streams together, it needs to know the total runtime (somehow) of all PGS streams being joined. The reason is that PGS itself doesn't manifest total runtime, only the time at which the last caption is pulled off the screen. Presumably, the credits will run past any such caption
