It's come to my attention that latest nightly build e6b1ed8 is having problems with importing (blu-ray compliant) m2ts files and mpls files from blu-ray discs. On several occasions I get error: "Track 0 was not recognized and ignored. File name:..." etc.
Several previous versions of tsMuxer don't throw these errors. Tracks concerned are MVC and H264, the latter from both 2D and 3D discs.

Has a bug sneaked in?

if you can't find the edited tsMuxer version., you can demux the atmos track to lpcm and remux in a profile 5 MP4. this should work as well.

Thanks! The lpcm path worked well on Apple TV 4K.

Regarding different colorspace for profile DV 7 converted to profile 5, can you (or anyone reading this) explain more or pinpoint me to where to read about it ?
I wasn't able to detect the issue, so I am eager to figure what I am missing.

I can confirm that with version 00caad0, the issues with H264 and MVC streams not being recognized, is solved.

Dolby True HD Atmos

Hi devs,
can we hope that Dolby True HD Atmos will be recognized in Tsmuxer without the ac3 core?

This would be most useful, as Dolby TrueHD audio streams with an AC3 core is only required for generating Blu-ray spec disc's...

I would love that too but I think they said it wasn't possible to support TrueHD stream without a core but @a5180007 thought a while ago of maybe just adding a blank ac3 core which would be a great solution IMO.
is it still something you will do @a5180007 ?

thank you

I don't know what "they" said but if I am not not mistaken, ffmpeg already supports pure TrueHD in transport streams, so it would be just a matter of adapting ffmpeg's source-code to the tsMuxer executable.

TrueHD without AC3 is supported by TS but not by HDMV/Blu-ray.
I still plan to work on this after version 2.7 has been released

There may be an issue with some of the latest versions and muxing to bluray folder. I'm getting discs that aren't playable. I'm still verifying with an older version or two. Anyone else noticing this?

Alright - Official release 2.6.12 muxes a functioning disc
Both of these releases mux a disc that does not play (it just goes to stop without ever starting to play)
w64-nightly-2021-01-17.zip
w64-nightly-2021-01-21.zip
I'm not sure if there's any difference between those 2 as they both say that they're version 0076a07

Something possibly worth noting is that I had to set the SEI/VUI setting to do not change, to get a correctly playing disc.
Regardless of this being on or off (tried discs from both), the mux from the new version is not playable

If there are SEI/VUI issues, you just get playback that glitches every few seconds. I'm not sure if this setting has ever corrected anything, as it's defaulted on, but it certainly breaks things sometimes. Maybe it's better to be defaulted to do not change?

@pacaveli420 my bad... Latest patch introduced a bug in the playlist numbering. I've pushed a fix which should be merged shortly by @BloodyRipper.

Edit: @BloodyRipper could we please go back to the situation where the bintray nightly occurs only when there is a change, and not every night ?

ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null
brew install freetype
brew install zlib
which in my not-so-humble opinion is not good enough.
I mean, why no static builds for the Mac operating system?

I have already asked this question but it went ignored

Welp, This no longer works for me. I've upgraded to Big Sur and made a clean install. Guess what, I can't use the cmd

Need sudo access on macOS (e.g. the user zeropc to be an Administrator)!

I'm the admin on my computer and normal sudo works. But this cmd is a no go.

We need something solid to fix this once and for all, without the need to use terminal cmds the avarage users has no clue about. The original app didn't have this issue at all. Please make a proper make app. Thanks

Just did the following on Big Sur:

Code:
/bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install.sh)"
Code:
% brew --version
Homebrew 3.0.1-18-g0211ae4
Homebrew/homebrew-core (git revision d68c42; last commit 2021-02-11)
I ran the first command from my normal user, it prompted for admin password. I was also able to update my freetype and zlib.

Bintray is scheduled to shut down by the end of May, so we've switched to GitHub for distributing nightly releases. A GitHub account is not needed in order to download these. You can access the release page here.
