Bluray playback with libaacs & libbdplus
I have followed your directions and attached a screen shot of the error messages. I have also attached the DEBUG File.
I am running Windows 10 64 bit and installed VLC 3.0.11 32 bit. I have a libre compliant drive that works with makeMKV. I can play DVD's but not Blu Ray or 4K Blu Ray Any help would surely be appreciated. Thanks! Last edited by SilentK; 25th August 2020 at 17:05. |

which is a stupid policy when you are just trying to upload a logfile, image, or crashdump. the only way to circumvent this is to host your attachments elsewhere and then put a link to them here, hence why i mentioned using a free file hosting site like zippyshare, tinyupload, etc. i hope this is helpful. |

Logfile you attached comes from VLC and doesn't contain messages from libaacs. We would need to see the libaacs log instead. However, from that error message we can tell that either 1) you don't have host certificates in your keyfile or 2) all host certificates in your keyfile have been revoked by your drive. Note that for 4K blurays to work you need to use AACS1 drive with a friendly firmware. AACS2 drives require AACS2 host certificates for 4K discs. Libre compliant drive that works with makemkv doesn't necessarily mean that the drive is friendly. |

@nuraman00
you can get FindVUK here: https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=172472 and DVDFab here: https://www.dvdfab.cn/download.htm |

FindVUK is a program to extract the keys needed for playback from the commercial ripper DVDFab. Also when you run FindVUK, it synchronizes your local key database with the online database. Once someone uses FindVUK on a particular disc, the key gets added to the database and then everyone can play that disc. Since no one has added the key to the database before, you will have to do it.
