Audio out of sync when converting mov to mpeg2 with k-lite and Reference

Hi,
I'm trying to convert PAL 50i mov files to mpeg2 using Main Concept Reference 2.2 and the K-lite codec pack. The problem I'm having is that 99% of the time the audio is out of sync. I managed to get around this a couple of times using the audio delay filter but as the delay is always different it's not really convenient to do this. Also, sometimes the files won't even open. I'm using Win7 64bit.

Any help in this would be greatly appreciated...

Please post a MediaInfo report about the contents of the problematic .MOV file.

FWIW: in my limited experience with MCR, it seems to work "best" when given a "fake" (Avisynth-based) .AVI source (created by makeAVIS, and intermediated by ffdshow).
