Can BDedit correct "playlist obfuscation" in an ISO file?
Hello,
After successfully decrypting (either with AnyDVD HD or XReveal Pro) a blu-ray disc to an ISO file, clicking on the "Play movie" button at the Top Menu leads to a random playlist (known as "playlist obfuscation"). I know what the correct playlist .mpls file is. I could just combine the corresponding stream .m2ts files into one to get just the movie, but I like to keep the original disc structure with menus into an ISO file. My question is: Can I somehow use BDedit (after first ripping to a folder) to correct this "playlist obfuscation" and point the Top Menu to the correct .mpls file (and then writing the corrected folder to an ISO file)? The documentation of BDedit is rather sparse and I do not see anything under the "Menu" tab (see attached screenshot). Thank you all! |

Hi! I don't know anything about BDedit, but you can try BlurayTestAndDecrypt - I've added a PlaylistObfuscationDetection + Correction a long time ago and to be honest, I've only tested it with one or 2 discs when I added it but never needed it by myself.
What it does is that it remaps all "wrong" playlists to point to the correct playlist. In case it's not working as expected, send me logfiles and I'll check if and how to improve ![]() |
