BD Rebuilder v0.42.06 (beta)

I have updated the first thread of this post with links to a new version of BD-RB (v0.42.06). Changes for this release:
Code:
- Added information to the video import routine
so it would properly handle AVI files with the
  "DX50" fourcc value.
- Updated video file imports so that SRT streams
contained in MKV files will be included in the
  pseudo source muxing.
- Corrected an error in which forced subtitles
were not being carried over into ALTERNATE
  movie-only DVD output.
- Created a hidden option OUTPUT_FOLDER that can
be used to redirect the final output build to a
location other than the working folder. See the
  file HIDDENOPTS.TXT for usage details.
- Updated BD-RB and INSPECT to accept an newer
version of FFDSHOW (r4422) as "correct".
- Updated the included version of X264.EXE to the
  latest release (r2230).
- Updated the included version of X264-64.EXE to
  the latest release (r2230).
- Other minor corrections and cosmetic fixes.

sweet. Thanks for the output option. While it's no navigatable folder like the source or working path. Its a reroute for the final output. It'll work just the same. Thx alot

No changes made for multi-angle selection. That will have to wait until the next release. I just wanted to get this out before the holidays -- and I have another project that has to take priority for the next couple of weeks.

I've been using that one for a few months now with no issues.

I used to use Ripbot264 for certain abilities. Which requires a newer version of FFDshow. But since Bd Rebuilder has allowed output to Dvd, as well as a wonderful import function, I haven't seen the need. The newer version worked just fine with Bd Rebuilder. If I had had any issues, I obviously would have rolled back to the trusted version on page 1. BEFORE posting a bug report

That's exactly how I'd lke it to work. I don't want to forbid using a newer version -- but I can't respond to bug reports unless a recommended is used.

My biggest mistake with DVD Rebuilder was making it too complicated by adding everything that was asked and crowding up the user interface & menus. So I decided that I'd take a different approach with BD Rebuilder. I won't ignore feature requests, but if I think they're not necessarily something that would benefit everyone or aren't major improvements -- they will be implemented in a less instrusive way, as a hidden option.

@wakko709
I see that there is a 6 1/2 hours difference between the beginning of extraction and the error.
Try re-ripping the movie.
Are you working directly from the BD disc?

- [18:28:57] Reencoding video [VID_00001]
- Source Video: MPEG-4 (AVC), 1920x1080
- Rate/Length: 23,976fps, 188.592 frames
- Bitrate: 19.107 Kbs
- [18:28:57] Reencoding: VID_00001, Pass 1 of 2
- Encode failed. Aborting.
- BD-Rebuilder v0.42.06 (beta)
- Windows Version: 6.2 [9200]
- AVISYNTH Version: 2.5.8.0, Ok
- HAALI Splitter: 1.9.42.1, Ok
- FFDSHOW: 4422, Ok
- FFDSHOW VC-1 set to "wmv9", Ok
- FFDSHOW MPEG2 set to "libavcodec": Ok
- FFDSHOW AVC set to "libavcodec": Ok
- X264: Ok
- AFTEN: Ok
- FAAC: Ok
- MP4BOX: Ok
- WAVI: Ok
- TSMUXER: Ok

*just replace X264.EXE X264-64.EXE file (r2230) files for the previous beta version v0.42.04 (Version r2216)and now it works. So the problem comes with the new version (r2230) of x264.exe

Unfortunately I have also problems (encode failed) with the new version. The same source worked perfectly with the previous version (with the same settings).

I can't imagine what could have been introduced in this release of X264 that might have caused it. You might want to right-click and look at the properties and make sure it isn't blocked.

I've been encoding successfully with r2230 since it was released in mid-November.

Provide some specifics about your system so we can see what might be causing the issue.
