You definitely have to fix that because, as Ch3vr0n says, it is very important and can cause lots of issues... but, in this case your job is choking as it it trying to extract -- and the MPEG-2 CODEC isn't involved in extraction.

Hmm...VideoReDo TVSuite 4.20.7.XXX only allows MPG/MPEG container to retain CC1 without rerendering. Hmm...I may check their Forum for info, see if anyone else has noticed it. I see that after editing and exporting to MPG with VideoReDo TVSuite THEN use MKVmerge(GUI) BD-RB will process it. Another step in the process, yet "quicker" than HandBrake. Which also means using CCExtractor...Okay... So, not a bug in BD-RB, just not a supported container. Nor are CC or .SRT supported (with MKV). Ok, got it.

I have a problem with angle on ICE AGE 4.
In eac3to (or TsMuxer or DVDFab), I can see 5 angles (English, French, Spanish...) but in BD Rebuilder I can see only 2 angles. To make a backup, I need angle 3 but BD-RB doesn't find it... |

I'll look at it. But in your post I see at least 3 playlists with angles... there's more than one way to construct it and support languages. You can have multiple playlists, multiple angles, or a combination of both. Notice in your post that there are more than one playlist with 25 chapters and the same length? Those could each be a different language -- and there could be multiple angles in each language.

In all cases, angle 3 is not visible :-/ |

Hi jdobbs,
I am struggeling at The Thing German BD. The Main Movie has PIP which is recognized as secondary stream correctly in BD-Rebuilder. The Audiotrack for that secondary video is also recognized but it is always unselected and I cannot reselect it. I did not check "Limit to one track for each language" in my settings. Aren't you able to handle it because it is DTS Express? Is there a workaround? |

The video normally plays on them all, some players just won't play they audio for some reason. Make sure your player is properly configured to accept mixed audio streams or something like it. All the switches can be found in the bdrb folder in a file called hiddenopts.txt

“FORCE_NOENCODE=1” option is ignored
@jdobbs
Thank you for your awesome program. The “FORCE_NOENCODE=1” hidden option is ignored when in MOVIE-ONLY mode, but is used when in FULL-BACKUP mode. I have searched but can’t find if there is a valid reason for this, so I assume it is a bug / regression issue. Here is my BDREBUILDER.INI: [Options] VERSION=0.42.0.4 FORCE_NOENCODE=1 AUTO_BIAS=3 DEINTERLACER_TYPE=1 MAXIMIZE_REFS=1 EXTENDED_GOP=1 MODE=0 ENCODE_QUALITY=3 ONEPASS_ENCODING=0 AUTO_QUALITY=0 AUTO_BURN=2 AUDIO_TO_KEEP=eng; SUBS_TO_KEEP=all SD_CONVERT=0 OPEN_GOP=0 RESIZE_1080=0 DEINTERLACE=1 SD_TO_1080=0 CONVERT_WIDE=0 DTS_REENCODE=0 AC3_REENCODE=0 AC3_640=1 AC3_192=0 KEEP_HD_AUDIO=0 AVCHD=1 REMOVE_WORKFILES=0 MOVIE_ONLY_LOOP=1 REMOVE_OUTPUT=0 USE_FILTERS=0 BDMV_CERT_ONLY=1 USE_LAVF=0 IVTC_PULLDOWN=0 ASSUME_DVD_PAL=0 UNMASK_CHAPTER=0 COMPLETION_BEEP=0 DGDECNV=0 AUDIO_TRACK_LIMIT=0 SUBTITLE_TRACK_LIMIT=1 CUSTOM_TARGET_SIZE=23500 [Paths] WORKING_PATH=C:\VID_TEMP\BDRB\ SOURCE_PATH=C:\VID_TEMP\DEMUX\DEFIANCE (2008)\ MOVIE-ONLY Mode log: ---------------------- [12/08/12] BD Rebuilder v0.42.04 (beta) [12:33:14] Source: DEFIANCE_(2008)_00000 - Input BD size: 4.27 GB - Approximate total content: [02:11:19.967] - Target BD size: 4.36 GB - Windows Version: 6.1 [7601] - MOVIE-ONLY mode enabled - Quality: Highest (Very Slow), Two Pass - Decoding/Frame serving: DirectShow - Audio Settings: AC3=0 DTS=0 HD=0 Kbs=640 [12:33:14] PHASE ONE, Encoding - [12:33:14] Processing: VID_00000 (1 of 1) - [12:33:14] Extracting A/V streams [VID_00000] - [12:37:08] Reencoding video [VID_00000] - Source Video: MPEG-4 (AVC), 720x576 - Rate/Length: 25.000fps, 196*999 frames - Bitrate: 3*460 Kbs - [12:37:08] Reencoding: VID_00000, Pass 1 of 2 [12:37:22]PHASE ONE aborted by user request FULL-BACKUP Mode log: ---------------------- [12/08/12] BD Rebuilder v0.42.04 (beta) [12:39:04] Source: DEFIANCE_(2008) - Input BD size: 4.27 GB - Approximate total content: [02:11:19.967] - Target BD size: 4.36 GB - Windows Version: 6.1 [7601] - Quality: Highest (Very Slow), Two Pass - Decoding/Frame serving: DirectShow - Audio Settings: AC3=0 DTS=0 HD=0 Kbs=640 [12:39:04] PHASE ONE, Encoding - [12:39:04] Processing: VID_00000 (1 of 1) - [12:39:04] Extracting A/V streams [VID_00000] - [12:43:00] Reencoding video [VID_00000] - [12:43:00] Keeping original video (no reencode) - [12:43:00] Processing audio tracks - Track 4352 (eng): Keeping original audio - Track 4353 (eng): Keeping original audio - [12:43:00] Multiplexing M2TS [12:47:08]PHASE ONE complete [12:47:08]PHASE TWO - Rebuild Started - [12:47:08] Rebuilding BD file Structure [12:47:08] - Encode and Rebuild complete [12:47:08] Writing BD structure to ISO file - ImgBurn completed successfully [12:53:04] JOB: DEFIANCE_(2008) finished. You fell for the Troll! Joking! @gkn I know...somewhat "time consuming"....especially that "time" is a concept and changes depending where you are and how you feel "outside" of Now. ;-) If you want to join the parts without rerendering I suggest practice with MKVmerge (GUI) which is a great program to donate to just as BD-RB.
