You definitely have to fix that because, as Ch3vr0n says, it is very important and can cause lots of issues... but, in this case your job is choking as it it trying to extract -- and the MPEG-2 CODEC isn't involved in extraction.

MPG or MPEG container. Import, Video File doesn't show support for this. MKV, MP4, AVI, TS and no "Or All Files".. I have PowerDVD 12 so, that alone, provides MPG support. Of course, FFDShow is installed; from first page link.

Hmm...VideoReDo TVSuite 4.20.7.XXX only allows MPG/MPEG container to retain CC1 without rerendering. Hmm...I may check their Forum for info, see if anyone else has noticed it. I see that after editing and exporting to MPG with VideoReDo TVSuite THEN use MKVmerge(GUI) BD-RB will process it. Another step in the process, yet "quicker" than HandBrake. Which also means using CCExtractor...Okay...

So, not a bug in BD-RB, just not a supported container. Nor are CC or .SRT supported (with MKV). Ok, got it.

I have a problem with angle on ICE AGE 4.
In eac3to (or TsMuxer or DVDFab), I can see 5 angles (English, French, Spanish...) but in BD Rebuilder I can see only 2 angles. To make a backup, I need angle 3 but BD-RB doesn't find it...

You need to either manually load the UNDOT and DEEN plugins (see the example for autocrop in your AVS) or put them in the plugin folder for AVISYNTH.

I've added MKV .SRT support for the next release.

I'll look at it. But in your post I see at least 3 playlists with angles... there's more than one way to construct it and support languages. You can have multiple playlists, multiple angles, or a combination of both. Notice in your post that there are more than one playlist with 25 chapters and the same length? Those could each be a different language -- and there could be multiple angles in each language.

Thanks for your response.
Playlists 800 and 850 use same files and are multilanguages
Playlists 801 to 854 use same files these files are different from 800 and 850. 801/851 is english only audio, 802/852 only french, 803/853 only spanish, 804/854 only german but all playlists have 5 angles.
In all cases, angle 3 is not visible :-/

Yeah, there's probably something wrong with my routine for finding angles. I'll see what I can do. I'll pick up Ice Age 4 so I can try and repeat the issue.

Hi jdobbs,

I am struggeling at The Thing German BD.
The Main Movie has PIP which is recognized as secondary stream correctly in BD-Rebuilder.
The Audiotrack for that secondary video is also recognized but it is always unselected and I cannot reselect it.
I did not check "Limit to one track for each language" in my settings.

Aren't you able to handle it because it is DTS Express?
Is there a workaround?

You need to add
DTSX_ENABLE=1

to your BDREBUILDER.ini file, but be warned this won't play back on all players

@Adbear
Thank you.

Will give it a try.

Dou you mean the BD-RB output or the DTSX won't play back on all players?

Is there an overview of switches which can be enables in BDREBUILDER.INI?

The video normally plays on them all, some players just won't play they audio for some reason. Make sure your player is properly configured to accept mixed audio streams or something like it. All the switches can be found in the bdrb folder in a file called hiddenopts.txt

“FORCE_NOENCODE=1” option is ignored

@jdobbs

Thank you for your awesome program.

The “FORCE_NOENCODE=1” hidden option is ignored when in MOVIE-ONLY mode, but is used when in FULL-BACKUP mode.

I have searched but can’t find if there is a valid reason for this, so I assume it is a bug / regression issue.

Here is my BDREBUILDER.INI:

Your source appears to be "preprocessed".
No more help from me until origin of your movie is clarified.

You fell for the Troll! Joking!

@gkn

I know...somewhat "time consuming"....especially that "time" is a concept and changes depending where you are and how you feel "outside" of Now. ;-) If you want to join the parts without rerendering I suggest practice with MKVmerge (GUI) which is a great program to donate to just as BD-RB.
