Windows 10 - DXVA issue, not working with any player/decoder
Hi everyone!
Does anyone have the same issue: I have never had any issues with DXVA on my computer, but ever since I installed Windows 10 it has stopped working for no apparent reason whatsoever. MPC HC (1.7.10) shows (Options -> Internal filters -> Video decoder) that both DXVA2 and nVidia CUVID (as it's a CUDA compatible video card) are available, yet either of them are listed as "<inactive>" during playback. Same with VLC and when using Windows' built in filters): no hardware acceleration. Any ideas how to solve it except for switching back to Windows 7? ![]() Best! Pawel PS. The selected renderer is "EVR (custom presenter)", which is said to support DXVA. |
