How do I get pass the antispam check to register on trac.ffmpeg? I tried everything I could think of but nothing's working.

Not possible, now that everybody knows you are gamemaniaco from Videohelp-dot-com.

I'm not sure what you mean. The registration module seems to be working and accepting the correct answers as expected both on Chrome and Firefox. There's nothing wrong with the website nor to registration mechanism.

I'm using Edge. What were the correct answers?

I tried it now on Chrome Android and it worked after failing twice. Make sure both answers are in lower-case. Try a different browser, or do it from a phone.

Jokes aside, try with chrome and you're gonna be fine.

I don't know if it's always the same two questions or if they change randomly per user IP, but in my case those were "ffmpeg" and "two".

It's very primitive form of anti-spam. It redirects to a link with two answers appended, so I don't think they change very often.
But does directly telling him answers encourages his spam action
What if it's not the browser's fault (very likely, since the method is very primitive), but he just doesn't know the answers of these extermely simpe question?

Code:
        function clicked () {
            window.location.assign(window.location.href + "_" + document.getElementById("pn").value + "_" + document.getElementById("wings").value);
        }
Or his browser is just too paranoid to allow this simple js code to execute, which I think is impossible, Doom9 also uses js and he's able to spam Doom9.

For me, it failed twice on the latest version of Chrome. But I think I had the "two" in title-case, so user error is possible.

lol I really hope it was something browser related and not actually him not being able to reply. I mean, the questions are simple enough that anyone should be able to answer them...
By the way, we used to have the registration questions here on Doom9 as well which worked really well in keeping spammers and bots out of the way. They were like "What's the main transform used by H.264?" and pretty much anyone knew that it was the DCT etc. Unfortunately, although it worked really well in keeping spam bots out, it also kept lots of new users out, so much so that the "rumors" about VideoHelp being more user friendly for those who wanted to start encoding for the first time started circulating and the Doom9 userbase started shrinking a bit. A few years ago, after a popular vote, we got rid of that and we've got a load of spam bots ever since. I wasn't a particular fan of that outcome, but I did recognize that it was an artificial barrier to a lot of potential new good hearted users, so I accepted it. I know that Swede is now trying some other alternative methods to tackle this, but it's a never ending battle...

p.s I sometimes wonder about things for April fools day and you know what would be hilarious? Something like:

"Before you register to Doom9, you gotta answer a question to prove that you're a real human. Please write the solution to the following partial differential equation with non constant coefficients".

I am tending towards a registration question too.
The old one about the main transform was good enough, and a second threshold question can be thought of as well.
I saw some of the better forums which deal with electronics applying thresholds too and later felt the reason for that certain difference of quality, being thankful for a cleaner source and myself willing to contribute more.
